Biomedical Technology and Bioinformatics CZ-Czech-Republic-Flag icon

You will learn how various laboratory and medical devices work, or how to use computer analysis to assess complex biological processes. You will learn to reveal the information hidden in DNA and create an artificial intelligence that recognizes various diseases. 

For international students (i.e. Erasmus+, Freemovers) we offer several courses taught in English in two degree programmes listed below. A full list of courses open for the 2022/23 academic year is available here.

Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics CZ-Czech-Republic-Flag icon 

You will learn to design advanced algorithms for medical devices and modern diagnostics of various diseases as well as methods for analyzing the genetic code and cellular systems. In our laboratories you will discover how the modern microscopes work or how to enhance biomedical images from magnetic resonance and ultrasound.

You will learn to design electronic devices and develop software applications for medicine and biology. You can look forward to the analysis of biomedical images, machine learning, engineering applied physics and nanotechnology. You will also expand your knowledge portfolio in the area of methodology of scientific work and culture of speech. Biomedical Technologies and Bioinformatics

The study program "Biomedical Technologies and Bioinformatics" aims to educate graduates who will be mature and prominent scientific personalities with great professional and scientific insight in the field of biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, biomedical technology, mathematical and systems biology and data analysis -omics.
