The Sport Technology Laboratory is used for teaching and research focused on monitoring and evaluating the effects of physical exercise on the human body. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments for conducting exercise tests, including metabolic analyzers, devices for monitoring muscle oxygenation and lactate levels, as well as a treadmill and a cycling ergometer.
During classes, students perform advanced physiological measurements on themselves in the same way they are carried out in real-world practice. The laboratory also supports bachelor’s and master’s theses focused on sports science and physical load assessment.
